The Joy Block at Aquinas College in Tauranga, designed by Ignite, shows how RoofLogic systems can support innovative design.
The mass timber structure creates an open, flexible learning environment. By placing all structural bracing in the exterior walls and roof, the interior remains adaptable for different teaching needs.
RoofLogic’s Ultratherm MSR system, used with a 0.75 BMT BaseDeck, provided both the structural bracing and a reliable substrate for the high-performance warm roof over Joy Block. This ensured the roof delivered on strength, durability, and thermal performance.
