The Court Theatre, located at the corner of Colombo and Gloucester Streets, offers a theatre experience unlike any other in New Zealand. Designed by Athfield Architects Ltd in collaboration with UK-based practice Haworth Tompkins, the building combines striking design with high-performance construction. The Court Theatre is New Zealand’s largest theatre company. It is a diverse and dynamic company of permanent staff plus hundreds of artists and artisans who produce 15-20 productions each year.
RoofLogic Ltd warm roof systems, including Ultratherm MSR and Ultratherm Xtreme, were specified to provide long-term durability, thermal efficiency, and protection for the building. These systems ensure the roof performs reliably, supporting the theatre’s operations for generations.
